| |  I have just seen the movie this week. My husband gave me the DVD for Christmas. I enjoyed it a lot. It really changed a number of things from the book, but for some reason it didn't bother me. I thought all of the actors were great. The girl who played Emily was a HOOT, and both she and Meryl Streep got nominated for Golden Globes. I'd like to see them both win.

| |  I read the book, and saw the movie. I liked the book better, because they left alot out in the movie.
In the movie they didn't depict what her best friend Lily was going through. I think that was important. It showed that Emily still was able to juggle 2 lives. Even though her personal life suffered, she was still there for Lily.
I think the ending in the book should have been in the movie. That was what we all would do!
