Vantage Point WARNING: This Discussion contains spoilers!!!!  | |  I just got back from Vantage Point a few hours ago and I gotta say, I really enjoyed it. I think it was defeniatly interestin and unique!
I was really looking forward to the part where we got to see it in Forest Whitikers POV. A tourist with a handheld camera, lots of things waiting to happen there!:)
But I gotta say, I also really liked this movie because it made me feel smart! I figured out that Matthew Fox was the on behind it 5-10 minutes into the movie-before anything even happened. And after I figured it out, I kept seeing all the little hints that are hidden for us, the audience, to find! I felt so smart!=D
Anyone else enjoy this movie?

the way the siries is shot... is very much similar as in the movie... we go back to 'some point of time', and focus on different characters in the siries..
BUT..... we are not made to watch four, five, six, seven, eight characters?!!
still.. it was an interesting 'short' movie..
i started to have my suspicions also - when Matthew Fox left Dennis Quaid to 'check the apartment'... and especially after i thought he was a bit too eager to get his 'friend' back in the fields again..
already thought that Dennis Quaid was gonna be framed for something..
it was a 'short' movie, dont you think?...
it was only cut, edited and repeated many times to shoot the different characters, at different 'view-points'.. not many special effects - but repeated sooo many times - that it seems like to have so much special effects in it..
my favourites in the movie.. the overly-curious tourist (Forest Whitaker), the 'local cop who was looking out for the mayor' and the guy who kidnapped the 'real' president to save his young brother... sorry.. i CANT say i enjoyed Dennis Quaid or Matthew Fox in this movie..

Yeah it was short, but I really wasn't bothered that it kept going back to the same moment for a different POV. I was interested to see what I could figure out.
I knew almost 100% it was Matthew Fox when they were driving to the rally. Can you guess why if you think back to that scene?;P Hint: He said something that made me peg him for it.
