I used to own my own cleaning business and I found that a lot of the houses I cleaned had dried flowers in them. I loved the look of them, but I hated the mess they made. Everytime I moved a vase to dust under them I would get a mess of dried flowers, all over, then when I put them back, more would fall off and then I would have to wipe up more of them. No matter what you do, when moving them, there is always a mess of them all over.
So do you keep dried flowers? Don't you get sick of the mess they make?

I had dried flowers for years, had the wreaths on the walls and doorways. No longer though. I decided that with allergies they were just one more dust catcher. Can't clean them and like you said they do crumble. I really like the wreaths though. I have some silk flowers now and either dust them off in a bag or blow them clean, even soak them occasionally. Not too many though because it's still a pain. whit

I know I also love the look of dried flowers. I use to some and for that reason I dont have them anymore.LOL Too messy for me. I think if you spray them with some hairspray it keeps them in tact better.
