Do you self medicate or you consult a doctor?

I learned to live away from my family when I entered college. Since then, I have to do all things and take care of myself. I stock different kinds of over the counter pills in my medicine box in case I get sick. I've got paracetamol for simple fever, ibuprofen for body pains and guaiafenesin for coughs, etc. Up to now, I still do self medications and visits the doctor during emergency and uncontrollable cases. How about you?

If I know whats wrong and I can fix it with over the counter meds. Then I don't need to go to the doctor. So I self medicate. Much cheaper.

Yes, if it's just simple sickness and nothing to worry too much, there's no need to go to the doctor.

yep, since i'm med student. for pain and fever, i take paracetamol. cough, i take guaiafenesin, mucolytic agents like bromhexin And runny nose, i take chlorniferamin maleat or CTM
