I almost fell asleep at my computer last night.

Can you believe it?
I was sitting here, waiting for things to load. My computer has been acting up and has been slower than usual lately. So I was sitting here watching the screen, waiting for whatever to load up and my eyes were closing. I have been online nonstop lately trying to market my business and I guess it finally caught up with me.
So last night around 10pm, I walked away from my computer and headed to bed. I always read before going to sleep to help me fall asleep. Well, last night I only read a couple of pages because they kept blurring on me.
Has this happened to anyone else? Been on the computer so much that they just can't stay awake any longer?

Yeah, I can believe it!
One day I played a rpg game (if I'm not mistaken, its FF8, or may be diablo II), I played from morning to evening to night. When it came to midnight I continued playing until 5am, then...........suddenly I saw *blank* and slept....Zzz [no dream sleep]...

So you literally fell asleep at the computer. Like on the computer desk.

My computer was going very slowly both last night and today. I finally just shut it down and restarted it and it has been ok since then. I usually stay up until close to midnight if I have to teach in the morning (like tomorrow), but last night I was up until almost 2am because I didn't have to get up this morning. I usually have to give up on those days because I am so tired. I know I won't get to that point tonight (I can only stay on for another hour or two since I have to get up at 6:30 so I can get to work. It's worse when I'm a student as well because then I do have to read so I can keep up with my classes. I just hope that I can get into my classes again so I don't fail my class. Have a good night (or is it day for you now?).

Yes, I've had that happen to me before. Once was when I had a kitten crawl up onto the back of my neck so all i could do was just put my head down on the table. I think we slept like that for about an hour or so. The other times it happens is when I go on Yahoo chat and someone IM's me and wants to chat and it almost always happens just minutes before I want to get offline.
