a man was struck by a car and killed Wednesday night as he tried to change his pickup's tire on Highway 67.The man was identified as James H. Bleything, 57.
Bleything's Dodge Ram truck had a flat tire on Highway 67 about 6 p.m. Wednesday, so he drove the pickup and the homemade trailer it was pulling onto the shoulder. As Bleything tried to change the tire, a Range Rover heading north traveled off the right side of the highway and struck the trailer first, then Bleything and Bleything's vehicle, Highway Patrol said.
The Range Rover, overturned and slid on its top, blocking the right lane of the highway.
Bleything dead at the scene. I couldn't believe this

thats not the story, i shoud kno...the man that was killed was my father. He wasnt changing a tire, he was picking up his broken down van on the side of the road, an was struck by an oncoming landrover. he wasnt on the ground changing a tire, he was completly alert an in standing position.he was pinned between the truck an tralior that he was loading the van on to. he was my world an due to someone's careless driving, he was taken away from me. I miss him terribly.
it just makes me wonder who printed this article, because they need to find out the truth about things before they print 1,000 wrong atricles in a million different papers and websites.

This doesn't surprise me. I once worked as a tow truck driver and a guy plowed into the back of a car as I was trying to tow it. Nearly killed me. Fortune was on my side that day.
Strange, that memory stays with me because the guy who's van I was towing (the guy who's car got hit) was a Muslim. He had some really harsh views about owning or controlling his woman. He though that was a point that might convince me to try his religion. It wasn't.
I have only wanted equality with the woman in my life. My father was a controlling jerk. I never wanted to be that way.
