The Canadian Health Care system is in crisis. While it is still better then the pay for service setup of the united states, there are serious flaws. In Ontario half of the hospitals are running at a deficit, which is prohibited by Ontario law. Wait times are ever expanding. I don't question universal health care, it is needed and it can work, however I must wonder about what is causing this continual downward spiral, and what can Canada do to save health care?
