Overtime work at home  |

 The corporate world is a very tough. It has so much competition and you have to keep up with it so that you will not be left out. Because of the many demands in the office, I used to bring work in the house. I continue my unfinished work at home so that I can accomodate all new work and leaves me no pending jobs. The downside is I get less sleep and I spend less quality time with my family.
Do you take your work at home? Do you make your house an extension of the office? Any advantages or disadvantages?

I later became an elementary school teacher and had to bring my work home with me all the time. There were papers to grade, lessons to plan and many other things that you just couldn't do during class time if you wanted to be a good teacher.

3.  hey_baby (245) | 5 months ago |  although my job now (thankfully) isn't that much busy for me to take my work home. but if need be, i can bring it home (on a regulated basis), but as much as possible i wouldn't want that.
i only get to be with my son only at night & weekends, i would like to maximize those times with him.

| 4. Badams (79) | 5 months ago |  Sometimes I do bring my work home. I find that its much easier to sit down and get things done without all the distractions at work. Plus its easier for me at home as my chair is more comfortable, my computer is faster, and my monitor is larger. Its just more comforting and easier for me to catch up on things from home.
