Hello dear julyteen. I have learned that the Graduation Day in the Phillipines is very grand, compared with ours in China. Usually the college students in China start to have their student practice when they reach the last semester of the college year and what they will have to do is to come back for the paper debate in June and they will get their diploma in early July. It does not seem to be common to have a Graduation Day as you have.
Well, to graduate from college is an exciting thing both to the parents and the graduates. It is another stage of life for one who graduates and will start their independent life. I think that it is one of the greatest things in life after gratulation as you would be able to choose the life of your own...

I guess most parents will feel satisfied, proud, happy and relieved that their son or daughter can pass their course successfully. I think I will feel the same way too because since I am still in university and yet to graduate, I understand that the majority of courses are tough and it is an accomplishment just to pass each subject in each semester.

I think I would be proud if i had a son/daughter graduating. Right now my parents are very proud, my brother is graduating this march and they have waited for this event for a very long time. I think it's like seeing every penny they worked hard for has paid off and that giving the education they deserve to their child to the fullest is something that will always make them proud.

i think it's normal to be proud of if your son/daughter finished his/her course specially if this event is waited for a long time due to some valid reasons. Now we can see faces of our parents how happy they are while escorting their child during recessional March.
