do you dare see horror films?

i don't even dare to have a try that kind of movies. i am sure i will get no sleep if i see that.
last night i just watched an American detective film, i was a little scared. cuz the victims' appearance is so horrible when they are dead. after i watched, i didn't dare close my eyes, if i did, the horrible image would appear in my brain.
i do know some girls who are also very afraid of horrible film, but they like to see it. that's so strange. do you dare see such films?

I like to watch horror movies, mainly because they provide at least one immediate impact on my memory - the short term memory is usually the one that stores these data... This is why people say that they have dreams at night about the images in the film.
When watching a horror movie you tend to be absorbed in the plot, which is a thing that doesn't always happen in a regular movie.
And i like to see ugly at its extremes, that helps me distinguish the good side better...it is at least a motivation.
