Do you have a favorite quote in either of the Animal Crossing games?

The writing is really outstanding in the Gamecube. Haven't played the DS version. I'm not sure if I have a favorite quote, but a lot are really memorable. One time it was raining, Gruff said to me,"When I was a young pup, like you, I asked my mom why rain fell from the sky. Yeah, I know, cute right? Anyway, guess how she answered! She said, 'Because if it rained from the ground, you wouldn't be able to use your umbrella.' I think I lost a little bit of my childhood at that point." That was a good one. What about you? Do you have any particular quote that is especially memorable or a favorite of yours?

I don't know if I have a memorable quote I really like, but the little puns they make every time you catch a fish get stuck in my head! I also repeat them a lot!
For example, my boyfriend and I went out to dinner, and I got calamari. I didn't finish it, so I took it to go. After driving around for awhile, my boyfriend commented, "My car smells like squid." so I said, "Oh no you squidn't!"
Another time I was watching tv, and there was a fishing scene in the show I was watching. When the character caught a fish, I shouted, "I caught a yellow perch! Perch in my belly!"
When I do things like that, it really confuses people who don't play Animal Crossing!

"Oh no you squidn't!" That's funny!Yeah, I haven't played the DS version. In the Gamecube version, when you catch a fish you'll here quotes like, "I caught a red snapper. That was a snap!", "I caught a blue gill! Don't worry! I caught the rest of him too!" or "I caught a catfish! I think I'll name him whiskers!" There's a lot of them. Thanks for the response!
