 When I was 12 or 13 and first discovered punk, I went out and bought a whole bunch of punk albums, like The Clash's greates hits, Rancid's Indestrubtible and The Distillers' Coral fang. I really liked them for a while, but for the past few years they've been collecting dust in my closet [I'm 17 now], and listened to hip hop and indie and metal and a bunch of other genres for a while. The past few weeks I popped them in the CD player, and I tottally just rocked out. I couldn't control my self lol. xD
I'm thouroghly enjoying punk music again. xD
Does anyone else like it?

1.  whywiki (3100) | 2 years ago |  I was a teen when punk rock hit the scene and I loved it. It wasn't what the mainstream kids were listening to and it gave us punks an Identity. I loved the Tubes Live Album with I was a punk before you were a punk on it. Great album and I still love listening to it. I hope Punk comes back, the 80's are in again, I hope Punk returns.

One of my all time favoritest bands ever is the Descendents. Rancid was good back in the day but that album they released back in like '03.. that was crap. I also love Brand New, Nightmare of You, I am the Avalanche. I keep forgetting how much I love Angels and Airwaves. I always loved Blink 182 also. Of course the Ramones...not much in life is better than the ramones.
I don't like a lot of the crap of today though..except for those bands I mentioned above. | |
