| Pregnancy Test - When do you get one?  | | | |  My husband and I have been trying to concieve for just over a year now. When we first started I'd be a few days late, and, all excited, I'd go and get a pregnancy test kit. The result would be negative, and a day later I would get my period. I soon gave up getting so excited and now just try to forget about it.
I am now 4 days late, and just got sent home from work sick! I am tempted to go and get a test but am trying to hold off for another week - its like I don't want to jinx things.
Does anybody around here go through the same thoughts/feelings.
How long do you leave it before you take a test?

| |  If you feel sick and you are late, I would go get a test. Taking the test won't jinx anything, you either are or you are not.
