ill start.... I HATE PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION in the Philippines. drivers have no discipline here. you'd think they own the road. even if there are loading/unloading areas, they ignore it and stop anywhere they'd wish. worse, they tend to wait for passengers even if the streets are empty(talk about perseverance), while clogging the streets. they have no concers for their passengers and their hectic schedule.

There was a time when I and my Korean director went to a certain place using his car, I was sitting beside him along the way. So funny, what he was doing for about an hour was complaining about the transportation system in my country.

You just stick out your hand and the bus stops - the driving is pretty hectic and I wouldn't like to drive here - but the guy collecting the money is always cheerful and will help people with their belongings. The buses stop wherever you want them to, this is great - I prefer that than 'normal bus stops'.

| | 3.  bcote212 (1024) | 2 years ago |  I live in the United States. Normally I dont use Public Transportation unless if I am visiting friends or family in New York City. The PT system in NYC Is awesome. There are subway stops every few blocks that can take you to pretty much anywhere in the city that you would like to go. The subways, trains, light rail and busses in New York can be very busy and crowded so you may be smashed in there with a lot of other people but the system itself it pretty good. I have a car that I use when I am home here in Baltimore, but I know we have a pretty good train system here as well. Plus its cheap in Baltimore I can ride the train all day for $3.50 thats like the price of 1 gallon of gas, but I do prefer to take my car.
