I was just thinking how kids say the darnest things, some are funny, some are profound, and you wonder how someone so young could be so smart, my son was only 6 years old and he watched a program about sperm traveling to the uterus of course it was human reproduction but it was on the discovery channel and far above a sixer year olds level of understanding, when the show was over he asked me, mom was I the fastest sperm I wanted to laugh so much but I knew I could not destroy his fragile ego so I just said yes half of you was your daddy's fastest sperm and the other half was mommy egg so that is why you are apart of both of us. what have your kids said that are cute, funny or very insightful?

I can't count the times my youngest said something that made me stop, walk out of the room and laugh. We were visiting a friend when she was only 4-5 and was playing with her toy horse. Well, my friend told her how to make it walk and make horse sounds. My daughter stopped what she was doing and looked at her so seriously it was funny and said you do know that this is a play horse and not real. For school, she has to learn her phone #, address, birth date, parents names. Well, she had all of them except phone #, so when I said mom's name is she looked at me with that serious look and said mom and our last name, lol. Since then she's learned my real name, lol.

If there was any contest I would. Those are the few things that I can remember off the top of my head. Now I wish I have written her funny sayings down. If I know my kids they will have a lot of funny moments.

Kids do say the darnest things sometimes and it just kind of shocks us for a few seconds before we can reply. My little sister has done that and so has the other kids only time I am speechless most times. They arelike sponges and take everything in more then we would like at times. Sometimes we have to back peddle out of some questions because we are stumped how to answer at times. But I really used to enjoy Kids say the darnest things. One year she(my little sister) got curious where Easter eggs came from My husband told her the Easter bunny stole them from the chickens jokingly. Well the next year it had been raining out so we had to wait for the rain to stop to hide the eggs. And she asked when she could go hunt the eggs when we told her not yet that the easter bunny was running late and hasn't hid them yet she looked at us funny and then said I bet he got caught stealing those eggs sissy and went to jail..We had told her a few months before that stealing was bad and you can go to jail for it. It was so cute the way she said it though we all got a laugh. But we told her, nah he just got a flat tire and that was why he was late in hiding the eggs. We also told her that my husband was joking about the Easter bunny that he didn't steal the eggs but that the chickens gave them to the Easter bunny for good girls and boys..she pointed at my husband and said sissy he won't be geting no eggs this year because he lied about the Easter Bunny and lying is bad.
