Just got a call from the casino I always go to. I have gotten free tickets to see george Jones this Thursday evening so I accepted the free show tickets. he is best know for the song "The Race Is On" Heres the chorus to that song to help you recall this great country tune.

He's still playing? Haha. I know that's probably a bad reaction, but I've stopped listening to the radio, and that's the only song I really remember him performing, ever, and it's definitely been a while since that came out.
Congrats on the free tickets, though. I hope you enjoy the show. :D

He has been performing since the early 50's when I was a tot.

I don't know, I still like the loud Rock-n-Roll.

My mom and I met him in the Detroit area 45 or so years ago. He looked as young as the attatched photo at the start of this discussion.

Like the rest of us he has changed abit over the years in appearance but his music will always be fantastic. I hope he is still playing the songs of the past. These are some of my favorites: Funny how time slips away, Here in the real world. Today I started loving you again, On the other hand, Too cold at home, He stopped loving her today and didn't he sing a song where he said," Take the ribbon from your hair. Let it loose and let it fall... "? can't remember the title of that one. I hope he sings some of these for you and if he does think of Mamablaze
for I love them all!! Have a blast and remember the past!!

Well It's now friday and I figured I would check in to see how you enjoyed
