There's a rumor on IMDB that George Clooney will be coming back to ER.....

My husband was scrolling through IMDB the other night and he came across a discussion regarding a possible return to ER for Goerge Clooney. I told him that I don't see that happening, not with George's movie career going as strong as it is. What do you think about this? Or better yet, what have you heard of it, if anything?

I heard this as well. I believe it was the current executive producer/showrunner who was quoted as saying they wanted to get George Clooney and other ex-castmembers back for the final season. Clooney is a big star now, but I think if he can fit it in, he would do the show if they asked him. He already made a cameo appearance in Juliana Margulies's last episode on the show, years ago, as a personal favor to executive producer John Wells. I hope it happens. It'd be great to see all those old favorites back on the show.

Oh, ok. Yeah, I remember Juliana's last episode. I think I cried. Actually, I think I cried for all the actor's last episodes LOL...However, Goerge's movie career was just taking off back then and now it's in full geer. I think though that there is a chance that he would be loyal to the show and if they asked him to make another appearance for like the final episode, he may do it.
I would hate to see it go off the air but I think that would be an excellent way to end the show with all the old actors/doctors reuniting. That would be awesome!

Yeah I think there's a chance he would do it out of loyalty. It'd be great to have all the old castmembers back for the finale. Well, I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I heard something a long time ago that he might come back to the show for a guest visit, but I don't know if it's true. I know that there are plans to bring Noah Wylie back for a few episodes, but they postponed that until next year due to the writer's strike.
