Do you think yahoo messenger is good for chatting with different people?

hi guys, is yahoo messenger good for chatting because now we have so many messenger in different countryes so what do you prefered to use and which messenger do you use regulaly. is good to get good communication with people how does it work? how can you suggest to chat unknown people especially lot of scam people are in yahoo messenger most of the time. so what do you think about that one friend.

I prefer to use yahoo messenger for chatting with my family and real friends, real friends include... previous classmate and previous colleague. I think this messenger is better than others. I don't chat with people not listed above so I don't have to worry about being fooled by unknown chatters.

I have used yahoo messenger for about 5 years now. I prefer it over many others. You have to be careful on what information you give out to people on there. I never use my real name and I don't give out that information because I don't want them to use my name for personal gain. I also only add people I know or people that I have helped at my poker website. Needless to say 5 years on yahoo and 3 years on the poker site, I have over 160 people on there.
