If you are looking for a dog for the indoors, I believe a dachsund would be perfect. They are small dogs, and don't seem to shed a lot of fur.

I believe the best would have to be poodles. They are well known for the qualities of their fur. Firstly they don't shed like most dogs. They are also the best choice for people who are allergic to dogs. There was a period of time when poodlemixes were all the rage. There's labra-poo andmany others who are bred to attain the coat quality of poodles. Long hair dogs are known to shed a lot so guess the poodle takes the cake.

dogs does really shed hair, its normal because they tend to change their old hair, like people who have falling hair. Dogs like labrador shed hair it depends on the season. I had a labrador and it really messed up because for a day I noticed he almost shed 1/8 of his hair, I think its abnormal but my friend told me its normal for the dogs to shed hair, unless they have skin allergy due to foods they eat or the shampoo that their using for the dog.

Labrador, doberman, etc. I think doberman is perfect, i had black labrador and it used to shed less amount of hair. What i feel is it depends upon the master. You feed it and provide nourishing food then shedding gradually reduces. Make sure you supplement right diet for the dog then shedding stops.
