| 2. garf2k4 (3) | 4 months ago |  Well, from the previews that I've seen of the Dark Knight, it looks like it's going to be every bit as good as Batman Begins if not better. It looks almost apocalyptic in places, and Christian Bale seems to be making the role more and more his own. Pity they won't let him really cut loose. His Batman is too controlled, psychologically speaking, at the moment. One day he might rival Michael Keaton as the best Bats. Heath Ledger looks like he is going to be truly awe inspiring as the Joker. he really seems to have gone to town with this role, taking the character further into the depths of insanity, but at the same time keeping it real enough to believe and may even be better than Jack Nicholson in the Tim Burton Batman. It's a real pity that his untimely death has robbed us of a chance of ever seeing him reprise the role
