Has ur place ever been burgled???

When i used to live with my parents, all of us , family went for a vacation, of coursed we locked the house, shut down the windows, with grills and all, but still by the time we came bk, our house was burgled. We lost many valuables, a police complaint could not fix any thing or get us our lost things bk. That was a hard time especially for my parents as it was their hard earnings. Now that im married, moved to a different place, just yesterday at around night 2:00 i was awake for some reason and from my 1st floor, i saw 4 men in a white van approach our apartments, they were making continous rounds. All of a sudden, one man jumped out of the van and headed towards our entrance gate. But the timely presence of our gaurd, warded him off. He ran and dissapeared along with the van. That was scary 4 me.Now I m pretty xtra careful about my house and security. So has ur place ever been burgled?

No thank goodness. But a friend of mine was lying in bed one night when he heard a noise outside. He had a climbing rose outside his window attached to a trellis. When he pulled back the curtains there was a man staring in at him! The man fell off uninjured unfortunately, and my friend removed the rose and the trellis next morning. Scary huh?

Hi. keep_onwatch. No, my house has never been burglarized before. I hope that it won't either. I think that it is very scary to live in a home that someone breaks in. I would feel totally violated and in danger!
I am so sorry that your family lost many valuables. It is sad that the burglars have no remorse for stealing other peoples things. I am glad that the security guard was around to stop them from stealing your things. I am glad that you are okay, I wished that I could say the same thing about the people whom things were stolen as well. What a scary and sad kind of world that we live in!
