if you are given a chance to select your name when you are born, what name do you want to be called?
me, i want to be called as trisha, i don't know whats with name but ever since i'm little i want to be called trisha. :-)

I have always wanted to be called Imran.I dunno why, but its what i like.
People fantasize being called by other names.I think they feel its odd to speak about it.But some dont.I have a friend who likes being called after the brand of his bike.An another one likes being called 'falcon'.Sounds a bit absurd though.
Hope you also like being called bubblyapple!!

Dear Bubblyapple,
You have not said what your name is and only said that you would like to be called as Trisha. Are you a south Indian?
There is an actress by that name here. She is very pretty also.
I am quite happy with my name which my parents have given me. I would not like anyother name. They had named me after the famous singer Latha Mangeshkar. I am just Latha. Meaning of this name is creeper in Sanskrit. All the best

Well, I would like to be called by my own name which I have right now. I just don't like to either change the name or even think of any other.
My name suits me most of the time, and it has happened so , that my name is lucky for me. When some elder calls me with my name, the person's tone and the name both show respect for me, and so, I like my name.
If I would have to select a name for me...Well, if I would just be like how I am now, I would love to be called by my own name.
If I would be like my brother...he's a bit naughty and extrovert, I would like to be called Aakash/Ashish.
If I would have to get a name for me which is english - I would...ummm.....like Alex for the name.

Hi Bubbly--I know this is a bit late as your discussion was 5mnths ago but I would of loved to have my first name Willow but it is my middle name so cant complain your friend littleowl

There is no other name i want to be called in the whole world than Azriel.
I have not decided on which name is beautiful until i came across a angel name called Azriel. for Men, Azrael is used. It means God is my Aid.
Such a wonderful name and is very meaningful too.
I would probably have my daughter named azriel... i would have to convince my future husband with that. :) hehe

I've always felt that being called John Paul is way too pious for me. But I'm contended with it. In the seminary, I had my friends call me 'rap' because I did not want them to call home and ask for JP when in fact it is my brother's nick.
I'm pretty okay with my name though.
