have you known a real housewive of new york?

I posted this discussion because I am a fan of the Real Housewive's show on BRAVO TV but more the New York show, I could totally see myself getting as fanatical about educating my children as Alex (McCord) who hires a girl from France to live with them just so her kids could be more exposed to the French Language, although I don't quite get how paying $30K a year on this girl that shoots off random french words is going to offer her kids anything, kids need a motivation to learn, that just looked boring but it could just be editing. Do you know anyone like this, maybe someone in your family that comes to visit once in a blue moon during holidays and lives among the elites only? Maybe your boss, with her kids? What about any Orange County housewives? I'd like to know if anyone of MyLot has experienced this life? (Then again, why would you be here? But please, dont hold back!)

I have friends just like these women and think they have problems that are blown out of proportion like the lice. Lice can happen to any child doesn't matter how much money you make now. I understand the school situation, as getting into the right school is important. My oldest daughter was able to get into Montessori, which had over 300 children all trying to get in that year. Several of my friends take their children to auditions trying to get their children into television. Many of them miss a lot of school and Ramona's daughter was concerned about missing school. Ramona pushes her a lot and sadly I think its to much.

I really like Alex and Bethenny on the show. I do think Alex and her husbands relationship is a little spooky and self serving but she is smart. I would love to have a friend like Bethenny because she is sooo strong and I think she is pretty well rounded compared to the other girls, I mean she doesnt engage in as much cat-fighting but still have yet to see. I never thought the cat fighting would be so intense I cant stop watching, it makes good tv.
