Nahla Ariela Aubry (pronounced GNAW-lah ARE-ee-EL-uh 
Ok call me stupid, but what kind of name is that and I am not being ignorant either. Is it African or what. It is pretty, but I have never heard of any name like that before.
She weighed 7 pounds 4 oz.
Still no pictures, but you know those are to follow.

Her name means Honeybee in Arabic.
I really feel sorry for the kids of celebs that get called stupid names, just think when they go to school how much teasing/bullying they will get.

Awwwww how cute! Yep I know like the one that named her kid APPLE! I thought that was so stupid with all the beautiful names out there she picked a fruit to name her kid. lol

My oldest's name is April but her nickname is Apple. I am so glad because I was so worried she would get the nickname "ape".
I work in a school where half the students are african-american, so we have some unique names. I haven't seen or heard of a lot of teasing with names. I am always worried that I am going to say a name wrong.
We have a little latino girl and her name is "Lovely". Every time I say it I think of Lovey Howell from Gilligan's Island.

That is a very pretty name icyorchid! Nahla is an Arabic name that is all I knew so I looked it up! Seemingly Nahla means drink of water and Ariela means lioness of God! I like the babies name it is really unusual and pretty but not totally way out like so many celebrities do! xxx

LOL I know what you mean about tattoos! The word Nahla seemingly does mean honeybee in Arabic but when used as a name it means drink of water! I did a bit of research online and some of the books I have at home - I bought lots as names and their meaning really interest me! xxx

Where di you look to see that NAHLA means drink of water. In the news article it says honeybee....
I bet the arabs are having a right laugh at Halle right now. Its like when you have chinese writing tattoe done and its meant to say your name but after getting it properly translated it means something stupid like cow lover
