Moonvertising?!?!? | | So I was just watching a commercial by Rolling Rock, stating that during the full moon, they will be attempting to advertise on the moon via a laser beam. As hard as it is for me to believe that something like that will actually work, I can not say that I am not totally surprised by this advertising stunt. Personally, whether it works or not, Rolling Rock is most likely generating a whole heck of a lot of talk about their product, or even just the fact that they have the balls to try something like this. Which brings me to my question, is it okay for a company to do something of this nature? Who's jurisdiction does the moon fall under?

I've also heard about them on the radio and they're asking for people to send them messages that they want to post on the moon. Personally, I don't see how they can do it, and if they could, I think it would upset a lot of people. But, I don't think there's any law against it, though it would be tacky if they can actually make it work.
