Can you read PIECE?  

it is true that it is not easy to read those musical pieces. one has to undergo a formal training on music before this is achieved. then as one tries to play the piece the first time, he must have a good ear for music. he needs it in order to detect and know that he is playing the music right.

Yes, its difficult to read the musical pieces. most people who really into classical music spent years to understand and feel what music that they are going to play. However, every symbol has its meaning, play it slowly or fast... what kind of slowly? slowly like you move so slow, you make the tune slow, or slow the music til death? slow? what kind of slow... there are many types of slow in music pieces...
How about fast? does it fast like jumping? running? or like nervous heart beat?
The symbol make us able to understand what kind of emotion that the composer put into it... and its difficult because the composition already old over centuries...
let say, beethoven and its ode to joy. There are many symbols how it suppose to be fast and slow, emphasize something or not... I do try to understand how the conductor put their interpretation to the orchestra that they lead, and it may be different one another.
For me, its ok "at least" to know how to read the basic. Playing instrument may be more interesting and enjoyable if we make our own way to make it sounds and dont be stack on the papers... im not a person that mastery the song just by reading the notes, its really boring. once i make mistake, i do replay it from beginning... it seems that i never moves till the end of music. ahaha...
