Do You Loan Out Your DVD's?

They cost so much and when I finally can afford to buy one, it's because I really like it and want to keep that movie forever so I hate loaning out my DVD's. Ok, I don't like loaning out anything really and it's not just because I'm a selfish person [really!] but because my experience has been that people do not take care of your stuff and they don't replace what they have messed up either. If someone is going to break my stuff, I want it to be me!

I love it. When I find that someone hasn't seen a certain film that I think is great and that I think they'll like, I like to send them away with a copy to watch.
It can be difficult though as we've been burned by people who disappear, lose things, take forever with them or just don't take care of them. I understand other people's reluctance to loan them out.

I have never lent my dvds to anyone till now. Iam from India and in India original dvds are very cheap. they cost just 1 US $. even imported dvds of hollywood movies cost maximum 10$. Here the business of Piracy is blooming and you find pirated dvds everywhere on roads. this dvds are available even before the film is released and its quality is very good. Pirated dvds costs only 0.5$

Anyway, when you buy it, it's all yours as long as it plays right?
