Hubby was so upset yesterday about his mom and sister and he got a call from a friend to go out boating. I told him to go because he needed some time away to have a little bit of fun and maybe even he'll open up to his friend a little bit. So while he was gone, I did some mylotting and then I decided to get the two other big piles of wood and burn it. We're cleaning up the woods in our back yard. So here I am loading the wagon that we attach to the lawn mower. The first load slid right off so I had to reload it, gosh is it ever so heavy! So I reloaded it and took it to the burning spot in the yard and dumped it piece by piece so it would burn right. Got the gas and started the fire and then went on to get the second load. I had a great big ole fire going! lol so I had to wait a little bit before adding more. I had a total of 5 loads from the one pile alone and hubby comes home and helps me load the rest of it. I was out there for about 5 hours total before I came in. I had fed the fur babies, filled my bird feeders out front then I vacuumed the floors because they needed it some kind of bad. After that, I started a load of laundry and headed for the shower. What a day already!! I'm so dead tired!! But here I am again on mylot. lol Can't stay away for long!!Have you ever had such a day? Did a bunch of odds and ends and work yourself into a frenzy? I do this a lot but only when my body will let me. I have a feeling my body is going to be in lock down tomorrow (lupus). Ugh.

Yeah I sure was and I'm paying for it now. But it does feel so good to get a lot done in one day but I sure do pay for it the next day.
Hubby needed the break though because he has so much on his mind. His mom is dying and he's pretty fed up with his greedy family and said that once she passes, he's finished with his family. It's so sad. All I can do is comfort him and be there if and when he wants to talk and he knows it too.

I can see your hubby's p.o.v. as well though since my family knows my mom is dying as well. (She has a lot more than lupus, it's just that that's the most mysterious of them all.) My family is super greedy and all they talk about is who gets what... it's sad. Just be there for him. That's exactly what he needs.

Thats so sad that they are worried about who gets what seems like they would be more worried about the person who is dying and the things there going through!!! I would never even wonder what am i getting i would try to be supportive and help the person through that hard time
thats what the person needs
Time spend with them is way more valueable that there stuff Some people are just so selfish

Girl! You need to know your limitations when you have lupus! Geeze louise! HAHA. Seriously, don't ever work yourself into a frenzy when you have something like that! Just take your meds and do what you can do. Nothing more. I wish I had a cure for you so that you could work yourself into a day like that but I don't and you don't need to be doing that anyways. My mom has lupus. It's such a weird disease. She has reynauds phenomenon because of it. Have you ever heard of it? Just wondering since I've never met anyone else with it. Her fingers turn red white and blue when she's cold. It's weird. Seriously, stop overexerting yourself! Add me as a friend, I would really like to get to know you.

I know I should'nt have done all that I did but it needed doing some kind of bad. I do that sometimes even knowing I'm going to pay for it the next day. Last weekend I cleaned my whole house in one day and good grief I paid for it that night and the next day. I know better but I do it anyway. Dummy me, I know. I usually clean house in two days but I was away on the one day so I didn't want to procrasinate anymore so did it all in one day.
No I've never heard of raynaud's phenomenon but I did look it up and this picture is what I found. Funny thing is, my fingers and toes are horrible to the cold. When I was a kid, I was in girl scouts and was in the Christmas parade and my toes were frozen stiff that I was crying before we even started in the parade and luckily a nice man with this huge truck let me in his cab and he turned the heat up high so I could warm up. I remember so well because he had all kinds of stuff in the floor board. I don't know how I ever got my feet under there! lol But I've always had problems with my fingers and toes. They're the first to get cold and the last to warm up. I wear socks even to bed and all the time because of my toes. People think I'm weird for doing that but I say, "walk a mile in my shoes then talk about me" I wonder if that's what I have? No one has said anything about it so maybe I'll mention it to my doctor when I go again on the 31st.

Yeah, you should really do that! My mom had a bunch of negative lupus tests and then all of a sudden a positive and it made sense when the cardiovascular tech said the reason her fingers and toes got like that is because of that side affect of lupus. It just amazes me. When she washes her hands under cold water they turn red, white, blue, purple... it's weird. She says it hurts like heck when her hands or feet get cold and sometimes she can't even move them it hurts so bad. I work at a pain management center so I'm able to have the doctors medicate her for it. You should really get it checked out soon. She almost lost her fingers because of it! It's like you get frostbite when others are just fine. Let me know how your appointment goes please!
