Are the children over-burdended with academics?  | |  These days even from primary school onwards, children are made to study a lot of high-end things. I strongly believe in "chronological maturity" and as such a child has to attain a minimum age to understand a particular thing, say, computer programming and the like. But, ignoring that the curriculam is prepared and the same is stuffed on them. Infact the children are robbed of their childhood in the name of academics. The detrimental effect of this would be known only after sometime when it would be too late to take the remedial measures.

Some children have an appetite to learn a lot and for them academics could prove useful. Yet for other children who are not able to cope up it could harm them. However education today is getting tougher and thus children end up facing the additional burden. It also becomes difficult to find a solution to this problem since the world is getting so competitive and because of this the children end up suffering and facing the additional challenge of coping up with this burden.

Plus, they don't get robbed of their childhood in school.. They meet new friends, playmates, and learn different things that would normally be learned from books and like...^_^
