Do dandruff shampoos really work?

If you have ever had the unpleasant experience of dealing with dandruff did any of the shampoos you use really work? I know that some will ease the condition but only for a while, even those that are prescribed by doctors. I have realized too that the condition tends to go and come as it pleases when I ignore it. I do not have a bad case of it but it is bothersome just the same.

I had dandruff for a while when I was a kid. I tried Head & Shoulders shampoo, and I've never had the problem again. :]

I wish that had worked for me also. I had a doctor prescribe a shampoo once but the dandruff is back albeit not in abundance. Thanks for sharing.
