Someone actually bought their flake fro $1,350!
"We were biting our nails all the way up to the finish, seeing what would happen," said Melissa McIntire, 23. "There's a lot of relief involved."
The winner of the auction, which lasted more than a week, is the owner of a trivia Web site who wants to add the corn flake to a traveling museum.
Have you ever sold anything on ebay or any other online auction sites before?

Sorry, but the only word that comes to mind is: STUPID Why would anyone even think that was worth anything just because it was shaped like a state??

I am always amazed when someone spends a huge amount of money on something like that! I guess the world is going crazy. I have sold things on Ebay, but nothing as interesting and unique as that flake! I need to pay more attention to what I am throwing in the garbage. I could be tossing out a goldmine!

LOL, mann that's stupid ... who would buy a flake at that price? For that much money you could buy flakes for the rest of your life (in normal shapes). I've sold a lot of different things on eBay and QXL (European version of eBay) - but I've never sold or bought anything this stupid :-D
