It is the God's honest truth! Today is March 24, 2008 and it snowed here in Georgia. At least, in my area of Georgia it did. Nothing stuck but, we got a pretty good snowfall and it continued on and off for about an hour and a half or so. It is cold out and it sucks! I left Ohio, my state of birth, to get away for 9 months of winter weather! I expect the 70's in March and for the temperature to get higher and higher each month after that until they start going down again in September or October! This weather sucks! It was 60 yesterday. The day before that it got up to 75. Today, it was 31 in the am and, I don't think the temperature has gotten much higher.
Go! Leave! Get out of my state! I don't want you here, nor do I need you hear! It is time to say farewell until December or January again! Cold weather be gone! Warm weather...WELCOME!

Hey, where in Ohio did you live??? We've had some crazy weather all around, I can believe the snow in Georgia. Its kind of cold here right now and we're flooded.. we're due to get more rain tomorrow- which sucks! Are you dry down there or do you have plenty of water? I know you had a drier summer..

I would think we could pass all of our water to you then. I am just below Canton. Right off of I-77. We have our southbound on and off ramps closed right now due to the water. Homes are flooded, state routes are closed for miles. Luckily it didnt flood on my side this time but in 2005 it did. Our land is on flood easement but our house is not. Crazy wacky information- my front yard is part of the Ohio-Erie Canal. How cool is that?

I hope your home is safe from flood! Are you ok? My Mom and Dad get a lot of floods in their basement. I swear that they flood down there like every other week or so. Probably less but, it seems like a lot more often.
I really hope you and your home is safe!
I lived in Elyria, Ohio. It is about 20 miles West of Cleveland. Did you live there? Or, do you? LOL! Or somewhere else? My parents and brother still live in Ohio. My mom said she has lots of snow but my brother didn't get any.
We have gotten a little bit of water but, we are still very low. Our watering ban has been lifted from a total 100% ban to a partial ban so, we can water certain times of the day and only on certain days per address (odd or even addresses). We really need a lot more water and, if the past couple of weeks is any representation of what the summer will be like, we might get it.
I think our temperatures are supposed to get better over the next couple days. I just hope that it continues to get better. This up, down, up and back down crud is getting really old! LOL!

Lol…. Tell me about it- It’s still frigid and cold here in NY. I hate the cold weather this year ~ I’m sick of it—it’s Spring already--- I want Spring. I look out the window and I see snow all around me still- I’m hoping it’s gone this week… Supposed to be in the 40’s today : ) but then rain and then a dusting of snow tonight--- I’m hoping next week is 50’s…. lol….. Hey I believe it--- It snows everywhere I swear! It will be all flowers and warm weather soon! Hang in there!

Where is Dansville, NY? My hubby is from about an hour south of Buffalo.
Those NY and Ohio winters...ugh! I would not take them back! I may not love that it snowed here in Georgia yesterday...4 days after the first official day of Spring. But, at least I can see an end in sight for this weather. My hubby remembers that it snowed on their Prom in NY! Now that is bad! LOL!
And, it looks like we should would have a nice warm spell with the low to mid 70's starting Thursday and going through the weekend or maybe just Saturday! So, I am looking forward to that. Today was nicer! Not this morning! That was still pretty frigid at 32 F. But, it got nicer!
I am hanging in there! Thank you! You hang in there too!

Really, strange things around! I have not personally seen and experienced a weather with all the snow. I beat, the coldness runs deep through the bones. I grew up and spend my life on tropical places so I wouldn't know how it feels. We only have sunny days or rainy days. Maybe, a freezing moment is something to look forward to experiencing soon. LOL.
Anyway, here in my place, which is suppose to be summer, is raining hard yet. Wow! that is also something strange. It never rains in this times. Maybe, global warming has gotten the effects going.

Now! That is what I would like! To live where it is warm year round! That would be lovely! And, trust me...if you aren't accustomed to cold weather or freezing weather, you don't want it in your area. Maybe if you visit the states in the colder areas! But, I would rather be where you are! And, yes! The cold does run deep through your bones. You know when you have a fever when you are sick and you just can't get warm? It is kind of like that. It is deep inside of you and nothing seems to help. What is the temperature in the Phillippines? I bet it is lovely...except for the rain. We don't really have seasons in Georgia where we don't usually get rain. We should get it practically year round. Perhaps a little less in December or January. But, we still get it then. Right now we are still in drought conditions so, when we get rain, we are usually pretty happy to have it these days. But, yes! There is definitely something really weird about the weather this year! No one is having normal weather! It makes me thinks we angered Mother Nature somehow!
For everyone...I say, "We are all very sorry Mother Nature!"

Temperature varies here in my country. My city is the coldest and has the coolest weather due to it's mountainous ranges, the highest recorded was 22.6 degrees and the coldest is 6.3 but that was long time ago. Sometimes, there are frosts in the country side but it seldom happens. Recently, our coldest before the summer starts is 10.4. Now, it could be 15 degrees. Little quite warm compared last month.

I live in Georgia, and we got a bit of snow here a few weeks back. I also went up to Gatlinburg, TN earlier this month, and the snow in the Great Smoky Mountains was absolutely beautiful. My family is originally from Ohio, and we moved down here for similar reasons, but I must admit that I miss the snow. After being in Germany and Ohio, it just doesn't feel like winter is complete without some snow.

Ugh! LOL! Not for me! I just hate the cold. I spend a lot of time trying to warm up. I don't need what is outside to make it even harder for me! LOL!
I have been to Gatlinburg but, during the summer when I was on summer break from college on vacation with the family. It was fun.
What part of Ohio are you from? I am from near Cleveland and moved here 10 years ago.
The snow we had in January (I think it was then) was ok. Mostly because it doesn't happen to that extent that much here. So, I was ok with that. But, snow in March is crap! LOL! Come on. I left Ohio because of stuff like this. Do I need to leave Georgia now too? LOL! Hmmmm...maybe Hawaii! LOL!
