We are humans and imperfections are inherent in us! Do you tell this at times?

What do you think? Has it been a challenge to you or has it been an excuse at times? What are the instances when you have to say this few words? I was pissed off when I got this as a reply from one of my friends instead of trying to apologize. It gets into the bones really. I don't know why sometimes people seems to be so insensitive. Sigh!

I don't understand what you are asking, yes humans make mistakes, and yes I do apologize if I know I am wrong but you have to convince I am wrong though, because you might think I am wrong and I think I am right.

I do sometimes say this, but it is only if I am trying to make a situation lighter. If someone tells me I'm wrong about something, I will say this especially if they have the same imperfection and don't see it. We are always able to see the flaws in someone else, but if someone points one out in us, it gets really irritating. I say this as a personal observation about myself, not anyone else. I just hope no one reading this thinks I am talking about anyone but me. Have a great day!!!

No, I don't use that as an excuse. Any deficits I own, I am responsible for. I can't allow my life and its sad stories act as an excuse for who I am today. I made the choices I did. Yes, I'm human, but as a human I can make intelligent choices and decisions.

That'a a self-sufficient statement. I would see the same meaning as you saw when seeing this kind of reply. It's like running away from the problem...and showing ignorance. Apathy. Generally, we are not perfect...that may be true. But that doesn't mean we have limits. Or it doesn't mean that our limits are known by us. So there is a lot more to push forward, there is a lot to improve....so much that we could call ourselves perfect. So for me there is actually a small perfection (achievable by any of us) and a big perfection (the ideal one). This "theory" is for the question you asked, not for the case you presented.

I use this statement depending on the situation. For example there are times when someone I know is being too hard on themselves and feeling like a failure. In this case I draw for this staement and even cite some of my own imperfections and mistakes I made.
