Thought on the war  

I love my country and I respect and appreciate our soldiers. But, I hate this war and I want everyone to come home before any more of our troops die. I don't understand why we are there. I think that George W. Bush either deliberately misled us on his intentions or he was dead wrong, or both. I'm tired of hearing about how many people have died over there. It's tragic. It's such a waste. God Bless America, but please bring our soldiers home.

As much as I hate seeing our soldiers die, the reality is, if we leave Iraq now, it's going to send the country into a civil war that will eventually expand to encompass the entire middle East and possibly end up causing another World War.
It's easy to say, in hindsight, that we should never have gone there. And, chances are that opinion is right.
But, withdrawing soldiers is going to cause a whole lot more damage and many more deaths.

and the problem is the reason and the time they are suppose to be on war.
nothing better to see them comming home safe and with no traumas.
who wants war should war himself like the old times, where Kings fought side by side with the soldiers.

I am not fully for the war but I support the troops that are over there, including my husband who is over there now

i think this is a tough issue. i want all the troops to come home because i dont think its their responsbility to fight iraq's war. iraq needs to build their own army and fight. i know it is more complicated then that but i have friends who are fighting there now and bottom line is is that i just want them to come home safe and sound. :-(

I thank that troops for protecting a country and our freedom. They're job it to protect others and as long as they are needed they should and will stay in Iraq. They knew what they were getting themselves into when they inlisted, so for people to be mad cause so many troops are dying and saying its not fair need to realize that Freedom isnt Free. The troops are fighting and dying for you!
