Would you like to be.........30 but look like a teenager?

I am thirty but there are times when I could be easily mistaken for a teenager or early twentys. While I enjoy looking younger than my age it does come with its disadvantages. One such disadvantage is being hit on by younger guys. It is at times like those that I wish my age would show as we all know guys can be a pain in the butt during these times. It is even more disconcerting when the guys in question are teenagers. While most men are not mindful of looking their age many of us ladies wouldnt mind delaying that look sometimes. How about you? Would you like to be 30 but look like a teenager or in your early 20s?

I do not like it but thats the hand I was dealt. I am 33 but look 18 or 19. The biggest problem I find is getting respect. When people see you as a kid they are not as willing to respect you. I have to work twice as hard as others my age to gain the respect.

Since we sail in the same boat I guess you may also be familiar with having to hold a straight face when all you really wanted to do was to enjoy what was taking place around you. Poeple tend to stare sometimes wondering if you should be where you are or even if you were'nt too young for your partner. It can be a pain sometimes. (lol)

Worse than that is having people think your mate is your mother. This used to happen a lot when i was with a women 3 older than I was, but she looked older for her age. We got a chuckle the first few times but it got old fast.

I'm in my mid 20s, and most people mistake me for bing in my early 30s. I kind of like that - makes it easier to be taken seriously in business. However I could imagine that I wont like it too much if people think I'm 40 when I'm 30 :-D

Being taken seriously can be a problem also but my voice does well to take care of that. (lol)

Whew! I don't look 25. Today, I don't mind it though, I am enjoying the pleasure of going in and around with my assumed age. In my 30's? Ahh, I am not sure. Will I be worried. My boyfriend-to-be or husband-to-be might be ridiculed for taking advantage of a teenager. Haha. LOL! Or will someone be brave enough to enjoy life's journey with a young looking fella. LOL. Crossing my fingers. I am trying to think about it now. Hmmm. you just made me think about it.
