Yes. That's how I remembered it was for me too. It was less for love than like as I remember it. With regards to actions speaking louder than words, well, it is quite better to let the person feel your love than just saying it, right? Maybe this is something we develop as we mature. I guess no one would be proud to have lied to people or actually have played people before (though those lies may have led to... this and that*cough cough chokeee*). It's just fun to remember the past. As well, it is actually useful in its own little way. Because like what you said, you can get to improve on things that you knew were not right. Yup, I guess that's the way we should all go anyway. Maturity sets in and bites us in the butt when we least expect it.:D

Well, though I admit that I did say the words 'I love you' quite loosely before, I'm happy to say that it no longer applies today. Anyway, I admire your conviction for the truth, more because it is similar to my conviction about saying sorry - whether I'm the one saying it or am receiving it - I always make it a point that it is said with the truth behind it. I see. So females do them too to avoid hurting the other party. Oh, but then your second statement is right. Lies will lead to hurting eventually. That's something I learned along the way too. But on the good side, it prompted me to change, so I just take it as one of life's pearls.
