I haven't heard much from Jakob Dylan since he and the Wallflowers had that hit 'One Headlight'. I think he has a great voice and really good song writing skills. Plus, I can understand what he is saying all the time. Sometimes Bob would leave me hanging on what he was singing.

No,he will NEVER be as great as Bob.
He is very good,but Bob is unique.
Im sure Jacob will continue to be compared to Bob
But really,and any real DYLAN fan will tell you this
Its not a fair comparism.
I take it you are not a real DYLAN fan.
If you were,you would KNOW he will never be anywhere near as GREAT as Bob.

I think Jacob Dylan is pretty good, and One Headlight is amazing, but I don't think he's anywhere near his father's influence or talent. Sometimes having such talent in the family ruins it for the kids. Look at the Lennons or the Osbournes.

Not only, does Jakob share in his father's unmistakable talent, but, he shares his father's good looks as well.!!!Very handsome and talented guy who gracefully has thrived under his father's immense shadow...

Like Michael Douglas,Lisa Marie Presley, and Sophia Coppola,Jacob Dylan will never be as big as his dad but he will have a following.It is hard to go into your father's business when he is a star or even a legend. All you can do is be truthful to yourself and your craft and sent it out. There will be people who will get it.

i think that him and his father are very different. I think that jacob has done an outstanding job in getting away from his fathers coattails and making it as his own man.

i really haven't heard a lot of Jakob Dylans stuff. i have listened to the wallflowers and i do enjoy some of their songs. however, i can't say that he is as great as his father. there is definitely an influence there though.
