leopard in the house

March 28, 2008 9:12am CST
It was raining cats and dogs in our town, to our surprise during the start of summer. As the forests are close by around 50 kms away normally wild beasts used to cross the state highways now and then that to during nights and late evenings. But to our surp rise a leopard entered the bath-room of a house(normally old houses do not have attached) may be during night time. To everybody's surprise and horror it was found there lying on the ground. Fire fighting people and forest authorities caught it by sedating it and left the beast in thick jungle.Bu t it was a big trauma to the lady who found it at her house and onlt be relieved when it was left in the deep forest.Do any one had any sort of experience?

Wow! That's pretty scary. I think the only animals that have wandered in our houses were raccoons and bats and they're not nearly as dangerous as a leopard! I mean, the bat could have rabies and the raccoon is very destructive, but both can't kill you straight away! I've heard of people finding rattlesnakes in their garages, which is common here in the Southwestern United States and that can be dangerous, too. And, "killer" bees are often found quite often, too. We have Mountain Lions and bears come into people's yards from time to time. But, I think your leopard takes the cake.
