Ebay Ads  

First off, I think that the eBay ads and the other ads up top directly tie into the site's revenue, which would in turn go into our payment, so in that case I am all for it. I mean, there are some good things there that are displayed.

I personally have purchased a couple of CDs and some other things that have been advertised above. It's just like a lot of other site, everyone has some ads somewhere to get them some more revenue. I have no problem with it; I just tend to ignore them if there is nothing there that appeals to me, or I may look at some of the products that are interesting. They try to fit them to your interests at least, which is better than random ads on other sites.

beh normally the ads on a site are useful to have a revenue for the site in itself so in the mylot case also to take money and apart of them also pay the users activity..so sometimes can be annoying ..but i think it is necessary!!
if not from which other source can be collected some money in a site as mylot?..

I know exactly what you mean they really do get annoying to me some what because it's like whatever it is you can pretty much bet that it isn't something that I am wanting or are looking for...or if it is I have noticed that the prices are really really high...but on the other hand they have to have ads like that to be able to pay all of us for answering here on mylot...so its kind of a give and get situation I mean i don't really guess that they are hurting me...

Well, the reason that they are here along with all of the other Ads on here, is to help generate the Revenue that myLot uses to pay us. So even if no one ever purchases anything here from these Ads, myLot earns a small percentage from the people who choose to click on them which in turn helps pay us each day we post here. So I try and make some effort each day to click these to help increase earnings.

They don't really bug me that much. I look at them and all, but basically I just ignore them...I'm also glad they there because without them, I wouldn't be getting my .01 from mylot for this response. So ebay ads(and other)...I salute you.

I usually ignore them, I try not to buy junk that I would probably throw out in a month or two.

Those "annoying" ads are mostly what pays for your posts...so be happy they are there. If the advertisers go away, most likely so does the PTP here at myLot.

Yes, I have clicked on some of interest- especially the eBay ads. I have never bought anything as a result of what I clicked on, however a friend of mine (whom I know also outside of myLot) has and she was very excited about it- she would not have even known about it but for the ads above.

Some of the flashing ones annoy me a bit- they do on any site...not because of the ad itself but the nature of the ad. Same with ads anywhere that include a half naked lady I certainly don't care to see. So, for the most part I ignore those ones.

They don't bother me to much, i simply ignore them. They need those ads to get some revenue in, so that they can keep the site running and pay all MyLotters.

The ads don't bother me, the more the better. The more ads they have, the more money mylot makes, the more money mylot makes, the more they can pay us. Its a win win situation to me.

As a matter of interest, the ads target themselves to the users graphical location and how the user surfs on other sites.

So if you get ads of half naked women what sites do you visit when the children are in bed? haha, just kidding...

The bottom line is, of course, your inaliable right to surf wherever you want to. So if Mylot ads offend you, then cheerio.
