Professional Writing?

Writing is something that I have always been good at and something that I would love to pursue. But not creative writing. Journalism. Thats where I wanna be. I wonder what its like too. Is it stressful for some, and are most writers really pasionate about what they are writing. It would be interestng to know huh. I was in newspaper and yearbook in high school and it was great. I was also an english major. So writing has always been a pasion of mine. I would love to become a journalist. Or a reporter, But a newspaper reporter.

It's good that you have the passion to write. maybe you can start blogging and then publicize it. Eventually, you will be able to monetize it. Just keep on researching and you will surely get a good site that will help you become a professional writer. Good luck!

write a novel, self-publish it on the internet like on lulu.com, and invite others all over the world to check it out and provide feedback. also, invite publishers, editors, newspapers, ad agencies, etc, to check it out. some might get you started on some writing project. do your own marketing. advertise your skills. if people like it and it is meant to be, something will happen for you...

If you want to be a writer, it is important that you have a passion for it. You under most circumstances have to make sure that you can handle it. Most writers work from home, and you need to know that if you were at home that you would actually work LOL. its also pretty important to make sure that you are writing about something that you enjoy writing about. This way your "job" is soemthing that you love. If you end up writing about things that you hate then you will not be happy with your career decision. Good luck.
