Who can remember using a sixpenny bit to hold their stockings up???? I did!!!

Im wondering who can remeber when they were in their teens weraring stockings and suspenders....well i did..and the suspender belt buttons used to fall off....when that happened the choice was yours ..you either sewed a new button on..or used a small coin in the buttons place....
Ut was easire just to pop the button there!!!!
Im wondering if any of you can remember doing this???? I hope its not just me!!!!

Well I have never wore those, but I used to wear stockings wih a garter belt, still do at times. It is something like what you are referring to.I have never heard of the sixpenny though. I really like thigh highs better

No, ruby222, I have only once or twice in my life worn stockings. I bought them to feel sexy but found them to be terribly uncomfortable so I switch right back to panty hose.
