why is it people will rant on and on about the actions of another.. while in the same breath, reveal they are in fact doing the exact same thing themselves? why is it OK for them and not another? in another discussion, some chick was b|tch|n about another set of parents being irresponsible with their teenaged daughter allowing her to live with her boyfriend. a reasonable gripe, i can see someone feelng strongly about that.. ok fine. BUT as she ranted further, it turns out this boyfriend, is this chicks stepson, and the girl has in fact moved into HER house. the girls parents are horribly wrong to allow this girl to live with her boyfriend, but its OK for the parents of the boy (the ranter) to allow their son to live with his girlfriend..? how does that make any sense? when i asked wtf the diffeence was between the two actions.. i was cried at that i was judgemental, and being judgemental was wrong. ;blinx; the chicks judgemental of other parents for allowing their kid to do exactly what shes allowing her own kid to do and then states being judgemental is wrong.. ;head Xplodes; talk about a walking contradiction!! someone please explain the mentality of some to find any logic in this whatsoever!!

Most people are hypocrites, myself included... and I despise hypocracy. I think a lot of people just turn a blind eye to their own actions or situations, or don't lump themselves with what everyone else is doing.
It seems to me like just about everything thinks they are superior to everyone else, or that laws, or rules just don't apply to them. I understand it, and I don't like it, but it seems to be the way things are.

Much of the time I don't think people see themselves as doing the 'bad' behavior. Like, when someone gripes about person x being condescending, all the while they're coming off as arrogant, they don't see things like that. It's just like when people can easily see solutions to the problems that others are having, but when faced with the exact same thing they are rendered totally helpless and have to come running to others for advice.
That, and some people are just dumb. :P (they seem that way, sometimes, at least.)

Unfortunately, the people who could truthfully answer this question, wont because they will be offended by it, as you are calling them out on their own bluff. I've seen it a hundred times. My step dad wouldn't have known the truth if it slapped him in the face, yet his face would turn the deepest shade of red if caught anyone in a lie. I don't get it either.
