do you chat/text while driving??

I try to pay attention as much as possible, but am guilty of cd changing and channel flipping while I drive. People who text while they drive are the worst. I have almost been hit twice by 2 such people, one of whom cruised right through a red light, their face jammed in their phone, thumbing furiously

Well there's a big difference between texting at a stoplight and texting while you're actually moving! As long as you don't make me honk at you for not seeing it turn green, lol.

I know my stereo buttons so well that I don't even look away from the road... same goes for cruise control.

I have a friend that I hate riding with. She is all over the road. She's taking a CD out of the player, opening another case and playing with the buttons. Now, while she's doing this I'm having a heart attack... she's veering off the road. I yell at her and she laughs and pulls the wheel back over. I can't believe she hasn't been in a horrific accident yet. She's been very lucky... and I told her luck only holds out for so long!

I've passed truckers on the freeway with a book on the steering wheel... they were reading a BOOK! I don't know how someone can drive and apply makeup at the same time... lol.

I talk on the phone while I'm driving... but I have a bluetooth earbud... so I just push a button on the earpiece and it connects or disconnects. hands free driving is the only safe way, I think.

My mom told me several months ago she drove by someone on the freeway and they were knitting... yes... knitting. They had the stuff in their lap and were somehow driving at the same time. Now I don't know, would you call that talent, or maybe.... stupidity? LOL

I'll only talk on my cell phone for a minute and that's it. I'll change the radio station or cd but I'm to cautious to do much else. I'd much rather get to my destination in one piece. I guess it's because I've seen first hand what not paying attention can do thanks to my mom being a parmedic at one time and I helped her a few times to guide traffic around accidents. One of which that I saw is what changed my mind about seat belts... I wear them now!

I am guilty of changing the songs on my mp3 player i'll look down to see what the song so I know if I need to change it.

I always chatting with friends when I should be paying attention to the road since the traffic jam,and I must do something to kill the time!
