Shoes got busted!

When i was in college and i just walked from school to jeepney stop area. I didn't noticed two string of my sandal loosen it's forced. I'm already in the jeep and i am thinking if how i will walk towards our house with have quite long miles from the jeepney stop. And surely people will watching over me. So what i did i walked with no shoes. I didn't wear my sandals and carried it with my hand.
People really watching but i just rejected it until i got home. I don't care anyway!
Is this happened to you? How did you handle the situation?

oh that has happened to me many times, but I am not used to walking bare feet and it would hurt, also it can be too cold on the ground to walk.
Worst is when you break one high heel then you have to walk really funny hopping and one leg is higher than the other.

Hi. ciades. Well if you had no choice but to walk home barefooted, then you had to do what you had to do then. I would not want to walk home without having any shoes on. I remember my strap on my shoe popping off. I was wearing sandals then. I was also pregnant then. So, I walked in these shoes as slow as I could. When I got back home, I made sure that I took these shoes off. I was so glad when I got back home to take these shoes off. Everyday from wearing these shoes, posed a threat of me falling in them too. There was only one pair of shoes that was like this. The other shoe was not like this at all.
