He is probably acting up even more at the moment because he knows you are going away. Tell him the story about the sheep that kept crying wolf when there wasn't one and one day the sheep cried wolf and there really was but nobody believed him because he had cried wolf once too often. Explain that one day when he is really ill you won't believe him as he makes it up all the time like the sheep did eh! Is there a problem at school, is he being bullied by someone and frightened to go. I would try and find out the casue behind his behaviour. Good luck. Ellie:D

Hi Marketing, if he is or has been bullied that is probably the cause of him not wanting to go to school and why he acts up so much about going. Thanks for BR. Ellie:D

Hello dear marketing friend. I was laughing when I read about your little and sweet son playing that trick to you so that he does not have to go school. I am sorry that I cannot help laughing for this. I love your little son and would like very much to hold him in my arms to show my love to him as an uncle. happythumbup He is an excellent actor.

That is normal to kids; making up stories and excuses.
My daughter have never done that yet; I hope not. Just one
advice my friend: don't let your son do that and don't give
in to his acting. What he is doing is tantamount to lying.
Such behavior should not be tolerated because if he sees you
believe him all the time or you give in to his acting he is
learning how to be dishonest at a very young age and thus,
he will be like that until he grows up. Let him know that you
know he is just acting and send him to school instead. Be tough.
Kids are wise, hey?
