Alcohol at the movie theaters - would you go, would you buy?

More than 400 first-run theaters in this county serve alcohol. Theater owners are struggling to get their audiences into the theaters and say this may be the way to go. Lounge style seats, kitchens with full menus and servers, beer and alcohol available.
A theater across the street from Disneyland in Anaheim got the OK to serve alcohol this month. An Australian company is partnering with a company in California to open more than 30 cinemas across the country that will service alcohol, including theaters in Illinois, Washington, California, Florida, Arizona, Nevada and Pennsylvania.
Do you have these theaters in your area? If you do, are you be more or less inclined to go? Currently there is a 21 years old age requirement to enter in most. Would you support one of these theaters in your area?

Nope dont think I would I like my drinks but then I like them at home for the law can get yha if ya drink and drive so whats the point thats why we stopped going to bars if we couldnt walk to them.
ANd movies cost way to much now as it is so I dont go to them either wait for them to rent or come on TV!

wow-i don't think any of ours do.i'd never heard of it in theatres.i'd probably pass on it,just out of preference,but i wouldn't mind the full menu idea.
it'd be nice to have something other than the usually fare of candy and popcorn they have.

oh i'm sure it'd be pricey.
but,it would be great for a night out.

i dont think so that it will work, how about if you go with whole family with the kids, & beside you thier is one person drunk & make noise or vomiting you will never enjoy your day with your family, if will happen that to the theather never ever that i will be there much better to watch movie @ home than go with drunk people.

I went to a theater in Los Angeles that served drinks, as well as meals. I think that it is a great idea. Everyone has hear of dinner and a movie. Well how about dinner with your movie. This would be a great way for companies to draw more people into the theaters, and a way to really make more money. The theater that I went to had tables and chairs, not the typical stadium seating of "normal" theaters. Its a great idea.
