Gas Costs

Hi,
In both Florida and also, Michigan, the cost of gas is going towards $4 but, not there yet!
I think it is insane to charge that much for gas.....what is the real, honest deal with this situation?

like the first person said - we have all the resources here in america to drill our own oil...the environmentalists won't let this happen - thay are actually supporting to let other countries use the gulf of mexico but not us...
so you can blame the environmentalists and the people who were voted for who won't change it.

they could open the national oil reserves and it would lower the price like they did in the 70's. but then we would be vulnerable should we get cut off from oil. it was designed to be used only when we could no longer receive oil and needed it for things like military transport.
