How can I make low fat homemade fries?

Im sick of the Mc Donalds and Burger Kings out there, and all the oil in fries how can I make my own fries with less fat to eat with my low fat burgers? Any ideas..

Funny you should ask that. I just put a recipe for oven fries on my blog.
I see where someone mentioned the salt and vinegar fries in this discussion and thought I might try them too. They sound like they would be good for diabetics because the vinegar helps stabelize the blood sugar. Anyway you will find the recipe here http://www.squidoo.com/low_carb_recipes

Well!! You are asking about low fat fries with your burger :)
I suggest you to get rid of junk food if you want to eat balanced diet instead of these foods you have to take some home made meal like rice or bread with some vegetable everyday and meat in twice a week. If you act upon my advice then surely you dont need to ask about low fat junk food:)

If you don't want to use oven because it would take more time than the usual cooking oil.
After dipping it how cooking oil and you think its crispy already, put it on a plate with tissue so that the tissue will absorb the excess oil on the French fries.
Low fat products generally suffers in texture and flavor.

I would naturally cut them and just bake them right away lol. and then add whatever spices you enjoy. hope that helps
