I'm making homemade bread for the first time tomorrow. Any tips?

Tomorrow morning I am planning on getting up early to make homemade bread. It will be my first time. I have a recipe for Hallah (Challa) bread that a friend of mine had given me. I have tasted her homemade bread and it's delicious. Hopefully mine comes out as good. Has anyone made this before? Do you have any tips?

I have made Challah bread before. The only tip that I have for you is to braid the bread somewhat loosely. When it rises it will fill in. Good Luck in this making this bread. This is my favorite bread. I do not know why I do not make it more often.

Thank you for the tip. I was reading the recipe and it has this long drawn out desciption on how long/wide to make the braid pieces but never tells you how tight or loose to braid them. I will try to braid them loosely. Thanks again!!
