Does anyone make a lot of their own clothes?

i love to make my own clothes it really gives me a feeling of self accomplishment and it is often times alot cheaper to make your own clothes than to buy them from a store also i like being able to taper the clothes to fit my body style exactly i agree little girl clothes are alot more fun and cuter to make just because you can do so much with them and you have so many options when you make little girl clothes you can use bows and ribbons and anything i also can not wait to hit some garage sales this summer

I love to sew and do in fact make some of my clothes...Though I've been very busy lately and havent been sewing like I would like to (though I'm planning on doing some sewing today actually) I have made several things over the past 8 months or so..I also like to get clothes for a bargain at yard sales and Salvation Army stores etc then alter them...

When my girls were little, I made lots of their clothing since money was tight. You are right you can create unique pieces by sewing your own outfits. My kids are all grown, and I usually sew some of my outfits mostly skirts. I brought a black and turquoise fabric a couple days ago and plan on sewing it today. I also had some floral linen fabric that I brought Fall last year that I already cut out so if I don't get distracted today I will be making two skirts.
